Set Free

by oddi tea   Dec 18, 2007

She was a girl
And he was a boy
Her smile, so sweet
His laugh, so coy

She saw him
One summer night
She always had thought
He was looking for a fight

He had seen her
At a party somewhere
He’d always despised her
But inside he’d care

They lived a life
That the other knew
The pain, the abuse
The feelings said untrue

They wear their masks
Hoping none will see
The feelings inside
Waiting to be set free
