Cruor Of Solitude

by Laura Lamarca   Dec 20, 2007

Affinity finds fondness in
mutual understanding,
holding hands in association.

Sui generis set in quiet moments,
as friendship failed to find
embrace and lachryma traced a
grieving face, dripped desperate
in the cruor of solitude.

Yet attitudes turned no backwards
glance, perchance of expectation and
emotional shock took amiability's
knock...widowed woe
withered in penurious rasp
of solitary situation.

Parlance provoked doubtful
dilemmas, as eyes cut
across rapport's ravines.
