In The Shower

by Erin Donohoe   Dec 20, 2007

I saw my nice and ripe blue vein peeking through my pale skin taunting me.
Pleading and begging for me to tear away,
To rip it apart.
To stab and obliterate it.
To leave myself numb cold and lifeless on the bathroom floor.
How I wanted to steal the life from my wretched body.
To end my agonizing life of bitterness and despair once and for all.
If it wouldn't of been for that damn conditioner bottle falling onto my foot I think I would be gone.

And my heart will bleed like your words have bled into my soul.
This poem hits home, and truly enwraps the reader in emotion straight from the first syllable.
Dark, tragic, and honestly ... awesome.

    Oh wow.
    this was so emoitonal.
    very very sad.

if this was true, i dont know why you would want to end something that is soo good, even though most people think life sucks but honestly its the way its put in, Life is a reason for different things, it happens for a reason. no matter how if your life was really bad theres no reason to end it or even hurt yourself because you can always fix it without being hurt you know.

    but well writen.
    keep it up.
    keep on writing.
    love always and forever.
