Let it rain

by Jenny   Dec 21, 2007

Let's listen to the nothing that we hear.
It's warm today, hot tomorrow
The sun is blinding and winter's practically here.
There's so much sadness, but here lies my sorrow
No gloom, no clouds
No rain to mask these tears
nothing to make me break out my shroud
nothing to calm my fears.
oh let it rain, let it rain
in that rain I'll hide my pain.
It'd drive me insane if I were to near the end
without having a lovely above water swim
and no comforting drops land on my cheek to blend,
to help me let go of my emotional chain to him.
Let it rain, let it rain
In that rain I'll release my heart's greatest strain.

I know how much this is true, rain is the only way to mask your pain. I loved how it had a flow, very nicely done 5/5.
