Could you???

Could you cope with hating yourself ,
For hurting everyone around you!

To hurt yourself to stop others doing it for you,
to push people away to stop them getting too close
To cut yourself coz its easier to deal with than what's in your head!

To starve yourself to feel in control,
When really you've no control at all.
To think that you'll be safe if your thin and ugly.

Could you cope???
With going in an out of psych wards,
To stop you taking your own life!

Could you cope!!

    I liked this poem. It made me think that this person can't really stand their selfs and your asking could they cope if you do this and that. I don't know but i do like this idea you have here, its great.
