Infinity Beach

by NightFlyer   Dec 27, 2007

Driving by the last plastic boulevard,
I stagger onto Infinity Beach,
Mystical moon hanging like Truth over midnight's black horizon,
Spellbound and dazzled from an early morning dream,
Intoxicated by Infinity Beach, I stand,
Symphonic surf drawing me to the lapping shore's edge,
Feeling a oneness with distant towers of flickering lights,
And tropical clouds billowing forth in grandeur 'neath Nature's starry ceiling,
And shimmering boat lights gliding like asteroids over a watery void,
On Infinity Beach, I stand, witness to Ocean's midnight kingdom,
While an oblivious world sleeps.
