My love-driven hate

I have a hate
deep inside me
driven by love
in my heart.

I tell myself it has to stop
that,
after all,
it's not his fault,
he can't control the way I feel.

I never thought it could get this bad,
but I guess
it was bad from the start.

Hate's not good,
but it'll do,
just till I can dream again of me and you.
