The Emptiness Within Me

The Emptiness Within Me
by Kitten's Poems

I see me sitting sadly in the corner
Crunched so tightly together in a ball
My heart and body so weak in sorrow
As tears pour down my face.
I pray to God to help me
I curse myself with the same breath.
I look at me in the mirror so sad and unhappy
Pitying the sorry person I am.
I look into my heartbroken soul
Cursing the emptiness within me
Emptiness put there by my own stupidity.
As I stand over the sickened form of myself
I see I have gotten what I deserved in my life.
I have no right to the beautiful friendship we once shared
Your heart belongs to her, and not to me.
Sadly I watch my heartbroken soul slowly cracking
Oozing out all the pain and misery within me.
There I lay so lonely and bleeding
My beating heart slowly stops, I am all alone.
Nobody knows how I truely feel.
I gently pick up bits of my broken heart
I place them where they belong.
May I rest in peace forever
