THE DAUGHTER OF A US SOILDER

by Cliche Fairytale Ending   Dec 30, 2007

I'm the daughter of us air force solider.
he serves his country well.
hes got do what hes gotta do
and i gotta like it or not.
i might complain about him but i love him.
hes doing his job.
orders are just part of the territory.
i love him .
even though people don't like the war suck it up.
cause all you seem to be doing is
riots on the streets
blaming the military.
weather you wanna hear or not
their fighting for us in away.
do you want some guy or girl to tell you what religion to believe.
we didn't ask or parents to go over their.
we have harder time then you.
their always in the back of our heads
we feel alone .
everyone leaves us.
I'm the daughter of us air force solider who's doing it tour in Iraq .
120 days.
misses my sixteenth birthday.
AND I STILL DON'T BLAME THE MILITARY!
so if you have an issue with the war just don't me a favor and leave me alone .
what it comes down to is whats more important taking your anger out on the military kids or your friend ships with them.

I very much know this feeling. Recently, my friend, Don LaBonte (what a great guy....) was killed in action. His Captain told me the story of how it happened... i found that I couldn't stop crying. And it was more than just tears for my Lost Friend, it was tears for this country. It has torn down our military as a government puppet. Well like this poem says, not one of them asked to go to war, but not one of them complained when the trumpet called either. They are PROUD to serve us and protect our freedom. THe public needs to open its eyes and realize theres more to it than one government vying for power. Never lose faith!
