Words That Weren't Spoken

by Taylor   Dec 31, 2007

In the corner
She awaits
For her life to end
A silent mourner
Cries to herself
Nothing to mend
The vision
Of him
Lurks around her
She makes the decision
And raises her head
Then every thing's a blur
He stands there
Looks at her
Grin on his face
Without a care
Punches the wall
But she stays in place
He sees her tears
And the smile fades
He's just realized
He's the worst of her fears
But she still loves him
All the time she cried
A flashback occurs to him
And he kneels down beside her
He realizes she's broken
Everything around them is quiet and dim
And he tells her he's sorry
For the words that weren't spoken
