The Sad Child

by Katherine   Jan 1, 2008

Come kiss my black moist lips which poison the human thoughts…
Hug the body that’s bleeding from wounds only myself can
Answer. Strip me of the ragged stained shirt that holds me
Together. Run your fingers through my hair that contains ideas oh
Impurity and despair. Look into my dark hazel eyes, tell me what
You see. Hold my calloused hands which have touched the
Untouchable. Just dare to envelope my tattered imperfect body.
Try to find me in the world of lost emotions. Show me how to fix
Myself from the cruelty of the others. Help me out of the dark
well into the bright world of happiness. Dry me with a towel of
warmth and security. Show me I have a reason to stay in this life that has abused me so roughly.
