You say you see me
you say I'm there
either that was a lie
or you just don't care

my eyes are open
you walk right by
not even worth a second glance
the chronicles of the invisible
the few without a chance

I close my eyes and your with me
hand in hand
we walk the shores of sea and sand

but I open my eyes
and your with him
but what can I do

for I am invisible
a whisper worth mentioning on a cold rainy day
smile at me
it might make my day
