I wish

I wish you knew how it felt,
to like someone who doesn't like you.
I want you to just try and live your life one day
From my point of view.

I wish you knew what it was like
to always want to cry.
You don't know it yet but soon you will,
The me you see, is a lie.

I wish you would give me a chance,
To show you that things could work out.
Then maybe I would be happy again,
Myself I wouldn't doubt.

I wish you could just give me a hug,
Maybe that would help me get through the day.
I want to tell you what is on my mind,
To see what you will say.

I wished that things would have worked out by now
But none of my wishes ever come true.
Still every night I will pray,
For a chance of me and you.
