It's My Time

by ThE oNe AnD oNlY cHoCoLaTe GiRl   Jan 3, 2008

I'm tired of going places with family
And moving into new places each year
So this time I'm stepping up
I'm telling everyone
It's time for me to be out on my own
I found a place near by
It's small, it's the right size for me
It's over here near my school and job
Hopefully you'll understand
And back me up on this decision
I would've had to move out
Sooner or Later
Why not now?
I know you want me close to home
But right now Louisville is my home
And that is where I am going to stay
I know I am your first born
You knew this would happen
Now is my time to move out
I can't stay forever
Hopefully you'll understand
I need to be out on my own, in the real world
Hopefully you'll back me up
I'll visit every week
And I'll come to your church every sunday
Hopefully you'll understand my decision
Hopefully you'll back me up on this.
