I don't understand

I do not understand
Why racism is such a problem in society
Why beauty is only accepted if it is classic
Why everyone has to fight

But most of all...
Why people steal
Why people are homeless
Why there are food shortages
Why there are natural disasters

What I understand most...
Why birds sing
Why people complain
Why people say hurtful things about others
Why innocent people are killed everyday

    I like what you are trying to say with your poem and I also don't understand racism or why people decide to be racist when it is obviously so hurtful.
