The Mortality Complex

by Armada the Gestalt   Jan 4, 2008

I love the way,
You say my name,
I love the way,
You lose this game,
The shadow shows your honesty,
Just another way to find out-

You lie,
About the concept of your,
Hatred,
And,
Burn,
Like the cinders on your tongue.

Is this,
The way you always kiss,
The darkness from the fissure,
In the bleeding snow,
The veins and breaths,
And diffuse.

The ground beneath my feet,
The wind under my wings,
Fall out from under me,
I'm falling down,
Your gravity,
You'll catch me and,
erase me.

Your feathers sear the weeping skies,
That haven't cried in years,
I wish for flight,
But fate denies,
As written in these tears.

Just like you,
Like you,
I want you to,
Fall with me,
Just like me,
Like me,
I want to be,
What ends your love?
Is this mercy,
In crimson rain,
Or is it just my fear?

Rage!
Lets end this now,
Blade on blade,
Blood to blood,
Pain!
Since it was born,
Like phoenix song,
Now we shall,
This complex,
This disease,
This fury,
This obsession-

End.

I like this a lot. It starts out slow and smooth and as you talk about the beginnings of what I believe is your obession and the more and more you get into the anger the more angry and short your words become and louder speak your actions. However your word usage is wonderful, different words used in an almost dark, playful manner. And your descriptions are wonderful!! This is a really good poem. 5/5 from me.

    Much Love,
