Minefield Called "Life"

by Kenny   Jan 5, 2008

~Written For a Contest~

Stuck in a minefield of limitless treasures
Bountiful delights can be smoothly collected
Sparkling diverse ornaments of pleasures
Concealed on random walls and floors, protected

Be vigilant and proceed with extreme caution
Hollow cracked grounds can be softly activated
By a single careless mistake and wrong direction
There might be betrayers, select whom to be trusted

ROUGH draft ROADS are abundant along the way
Learn to sweat and PAVE IT with perseverance
THE site is immense and complex for YOU to stray
Don't get lost; tiny instincts must be given clearance

Adversities may appear clueless with zero warning
So fasten YOURSELF and guarantee each moment prepared
For it may be intense that would cause you a suffering
Still, pursue with endurance and don't get easily scared

Fill the wheel borrow by your accumulated ores
Along the path lies tragedy and sudden misfortune
So engage with reflection, strength SHOULD be stored
Power of will is vital, TO stay awake on your vision

SUCCESS waits to those who never easily give up
Within the minefield, opportunities ARE abundant
In life, failures for those who will quit and stop
Exuberant adversities hidden, faith should be constant

If you noticed, some words are CAPITALIZED, they are done for a purpose, , if you put them together. . . you'll come up with a saying that says:

"THE ROADS TO SUCCESS ARE ROUGH, YOU SHOULD PAVE IT YOURSELF"
