Fire

by Taylor   Jan 5, 2008

Broken
Gasping for air, lying motionless on the floor
She's at the point where she can't take it anymore
The bruises on her wrists shows she's still sore
And she wonders why she let him back through her door

Memories
The good and the bad keep repeating in her mind
She proves to everyone that she's one of a kind
The fury in her eyes cause her to go blind
And she knows how to attack from behind

Lie Inside
She took the hit and now she will fall
People lied when they had said they'd be there through it all
Now she's taking the pain, she feels so small
And with every breath she's punching another wall

Her Heart
For the rest of her life, she'll refuse to drift away
She'll stand there, with so many things to say
But now her world went from rainbows to gray
All in one heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, blood-caused day

And In Her Eyes
She remembers every word, and the memories made
She stands her ground when everything begins to fade
Back and forth, running around, she's searching for a blade
But the words of hate are still inside her, betrayed

Is The Fire Within Her
Screaming and bleeding, she feels all the pain
Her heart is ripped and her words are so vain
Wanting to leave, but she misses the train
And now she's got some confidence to gain
