I love this poem, it was great.

That hurts

Even the times you broke my heart,
I came running back to you like a dog.
I forgave you for all the lies and cheating,
I always took the blame and said I was wrong.

you really had portrayed how we overlook the horrible mistakes just to not lose our beloved

I didn't understand how you could hurt me,
At night I would cry myself to sleep.
And when I would wake up in the morning,
I would still have love for you so deep
