A distant dream

by Val   Jan 8, 2008

A distant dream I can recall
I remember being very small

Of being warm and so content
But not of light or sound or scent

A space so vast I could get lost
Room to move, rent free, no cost

As time went by the space grew small
As if confined behind a wall

Then one day the wall collapsed
A vast amout of time elapsed

No longer warm or so content
I wondered? where was I being sent

To a world so strange one I'd not known
This was the day that I was born
