Someone Told Her A Lie

by Taylor   Jan 8, 2008

Everything was fine, just yesterday
But now she won't look at me, and she has nothing to say
I started to get worried, because I didn't know what was wrong
Then when I heard the truth, I had to stay strong
I lost my best friend to a stupid lie
And she won't talk to me no matter how hard I try
Someone told her I was talking behind her back
Now I'm starting to feel the strength I lack

She should know me well enough to know I'd never be that shallow
Losing someone as faithful as her makes my heart turn hollow
She's going to listen to a rumor, that's not even true
And tomorrow I don't even know what I'm going to do
That pisses me off, how someone would just tell a lie freely
Especially to break a good friendship, mostly against me
I'm done with middle school, I hate all the freaking drama
And I can't wait until something hits them, called karma

She won't believe me, or even think about me
I just want everything to be okay, and we can be happy
Be happy again, because I hate to fight
Because then I wind up never getting sleep at night
It kills to know someone can make you feel so bad, you want to die
But you can see the truth just by looking in my eyes
I can't believe that someone could've been so sly
Making me miserable by telling my best friend a lie

Wonderful poem even though its sad your situation happens sometimes but they want to let you go that is what you must realize. otherwise they would have forgiven you im sure of that. makes sense. sorry for what happen but your poem is clear and that is what i like about it.
