Harmless Hand

by StephanieH   Jan 9, 2008

Dear daddy,

Your precious daughter
An unforgettable heart
He calls himself the loving father
Forgetting the souls he rips apart

Summer turns to winter
Days pass like years
A beautiful daughter, so bitter
Lost in all of her fears.

Not understanding what he did
It could only get worse
Started when she was a kid
A memorable curse..

His so called, "Harmless Hand"
Begins to make her weak
Buried in the sand
Shes unable to speak

She was Terrified to lose
Frightened of any sound
Emotionally bruised
Scars were found

SILENCE!She hears him walking
She hides to be unseen
Fearful for talking
A frightened beauty queen

As days come and go
Flashbacks of her past
Pain, She'll always show
RIP At last.
