Cutter and Witness (short)

by Evie   Jan 9, 2008

You stand unwillingly beside me witnessing my hell,
I always knew it would instantly ring a warning bell,
Still I'll let the blood stain my arms once more,
careful of who may walk though that door.
Please do not run away from me.
You can't believe everything you see.
Yet I beg you not to expose my lie,
I'll always be here, I promise not to die.
It will be our secret, so don't you tell.
If they ask you anything, just say I fell.
Don't turn away till you promise one thing,
And I promise you there'll be no problems to bring.
