World of Illusions

World of Illusions

In any other world in this universe
Of Love and Hate, you could tell the difference
And though as human as i look, I let go...

I live in a world of illusions,
because I cannot control the Almighty Man
so wave good-bye to the world I once
lived in, from my red-hot air balloon.

I live in a world of illusions
pots and pans talk to me
while his hands run up and down
the bedlam of my memory.
But I still smile and try to mean it.

I live in a world of illusions
i see art in the most broken remnants
of a person's greatest mistakes
and hold them close and forgive them
when no one else will.

I live in a world of illusions
I live with Mr. Kite and the Walrus
I dream of wolves running with Samson
and of unicorns kissing the sun.

I live in a world of illusions,
the trashcans in the mall say "thank you"
so I reply sincerely "your welcome".

I live in a world of illusions,
my friends as the actors, my world as my stage
Let them sing and dance their Grand Musical
while I take my bow as the Loneliest Heart.

I live in a world of illusions,
and pretend my clumsiness is an act of grace
and that I am God's vessel to give Love,
and to live in content receiving none in return.

I live in a world of illusions,
I image I am in a field of blue flowers
so I don't have to hear the monsters
screaming sins of guilt outside my door.

I live in a world of illusions,
and let my humanity wage war on my insanity
Its too bad I always know who wins. Can you guess?

I live in a world of illusions,
because I cannot cope with the painfully real one.

This one... this one soothes my heart, while making it burst with joy at the same time. It's amazing (just as the others).
