A Savior's Eyes

by Unrequited   Jan 10, 2008

Out of nowhere, I am pitched into the dark,
a dark that creeps into all your joy.
Bring that light, Oh save me with Your eyes!
For I am man, and I am blinded from Your truth.

Lost and drowning all at once, there is no shelter.
Forgiveness granted by the stars, only fleeting.
I have learned that love will hold onto you only as it is deserved...

If dark shadows and drowning souls are to be Your will
in these times, then it shall be done.
I will withstand eternal night, waiting for Your light,
and pray for all love to be received once again.

Oh Savior, grace me with your eyes, and light my way to Your heart.
