Tears Fall Like Rain

by Kenny   Jan 11, 2008

Tears Fall Like Rain....

Tears fall like rain,

Blinding my eyes to your pain.

A pain so clear to see,

One I could help if you would turn to me.

Turn to me in your time of need,

Your flood of affliction will recede.

This day has been too long

In the tormented darkness of your heart.

A woeful sense of fatigue you wait in the dark.

With a flicker of enthusiastic fire

You've jump-started this heart.

Hold fast now to my hand,

Grip it tight as you make your stand.

Feel the strength that I have to caress your heart,

Feel the warmth I have for you,

Know that someday we will again part.

I feel the softness on your lips,

They come to me in my dreams.

Driven by desire, your body shakes and screams.

You bend your back and fall to your knees,

As I suck on my fingers, you call me a tease.

Look deep into my eyes of dark green,

Never question where this comes from,

Pray it never leaves.

The salt of your skin, yes, I taste even today,

Tomorrow I will call out to you, for you have gone away.

Dream of me tonight as you lay awake,

Remember that when we were together the whole earth quaked.

Shaking with the same force as my love for you,

Out of air and darkness this force grew.

Eagerness replaces the tortured life I walk through,

Curious of this admiration I find in you.

My impulse pulling me to the mouth of your soul,

Fortunate for this journey, I roll.

Into a bold sense of understanding, we move,

Touched by something larger then me,

No more torment,

I am through.
