Your Hand in Mine (Monorhyme)

by Italian Stallion   Jan 12, 2008

Let's have some wine,
And dine really fine
By the scent of mountain pine.
Our bodies now intertwined,
Your hand in mine
As candle lights shine
And we combine.

Wow. You are simply amazing with this form, you truly are. I'm envious. x] I find that sometimes with formed poetry, the flow can be off, but with this one that was not the case. You've managed to have a smooth flow the whole way through, and the emotions were beautifully written. :] Spectacular job. Overall: 5.5

I liked the vivid images, but it didn't really flow for me, but then again it mightve been the way I was reading it in my head.

Still really good, better then what I couldve done lol

That was stunning!!! Those monorhyme poems take sooo much work because its hard to make it flow and sound together when you are trying to rhyme EVERY line. Really well done this was beautiful
