Walls of Iron

by Jordan W   Jan 13, 2008

These walls all around
Slowly descending to the ground
Closing in around me like some sort of barrow
I look and stare at them with something like sorrow
I feel these cold iron walls
I see them and pray for them to fall
These iron walls are all that holds me together
For I know outside I will be gusted away like a feather
These iron walls are my firm grip on sanity
Without them I will surely lose my equity
Within these iron walls beats my heart
These iron walls could shatter from the prick of a dart
Something so solid is but a pained illusion
It is nothing but a horrible delusion
