Just a shell
On the outside I’m ok,
Everything seems alright,
I don’t let people know,
That I cry alone each night.

I used to be a hero,
Everyone knew my name,
Now I’m just a shadow,
And I’m the one to blame.

What I once was has gone,
What I used to be has died,
But you’ll be pleased to know,
That not once have I ever cried.
