Run Your Race

by oddi tea   Jan 13, 2008

I run my race
With a heavy heart
My heart, my soul
About to fall apart

Then you take me
For a walk
We went down to the beach
Just to talk

So we talk
And I let it all out
So now I don't quite
Want to scream and shout

You told me
Of an unfailing love
The love of Christ
The rock, the dove

I accepted, in my heart
The knowledge that he
Died on the cross
To set me free

So I run back
And run my race
With no more hatred
With no anger to trace
