The sea

by purplemadness   Jan 13, 2008

I don't care where I am,
I have to get near you as fast as I can.
My boat is brutally beaten by the cruel sea,
But I don't care at all about me.
And the everlasting winds blow me through,
For I am on my way to you.
And the cold may be easing towards my core,
I won't rest until I reach your shore.
My ship sets sail towards your heart,
I know where I will end, I forgot from where I did start.
And I don't care about that at all,
I just have to follow the sound of your call.
Endless winds breathe me forward
Sometimes soft, sometimes hard.
These eternal winds I used too hate,
But for some reason I regained my faith.
Salty water drops fall on me but they cool me not,
The thought of you keeps me feeling hot.
And after a trip that has lasted so long,
I hear your call coming on strong.
More dead then alive I reach your shore,
I will never go back anymore.
But I am with you and all can see,
That it is a good times guarantee.
You run to me and press your lips on mine,
Lips that are sweeter than honey, more red than wine.
