If We Chase The Sun

by Gregory W Golden   Jan 15, 2008

Who shall chase the golden sun
Tall prairiegrass in our hands,
We chased the sun away,
As the round yellow star
Cheeks blush red that hide
Behind gray-blue clouds
We lost our breath
We gasped for air
This shall be done
If, we chase the sun
