If Only This Was Goodbye(Rather Than Goodnight)

by Alex D   Jan 15, 2008

Id spend three months trying to clean this mess up
And your sarcasm hurts but I just don't give a ****
And that's the truth, yeah and so you know, it hurts
She packed up her bags, and left with this verse
Midnight affairs, never seemed so justly unfair
And so you know I didnt care if it hurt when I stared
She packed up her bags and moves on with her life
A strong little girl, no longer creating my strife
Just leave, get out, before I start to regret
I cant change my mind, I know this is best
I think your great but your just a short fling
Theres no way we could involve a ring
We just arent peas in a pod, and we cant keep at this chain reaction
If only I could put thoughts to justice, these thoughts in action
Id be bidding you farewell rather than goodnight, tonight
See you after a trip into dreamland, again at first light.

    It was very well-written
spacing the lines out might help the poems flow but all in all a very good piece
    keep up the lovely work!
