Trying

I'm dancing to the rhythm of my footsteps,
trying to find the beat.
I'm drowning in the rain,
trying to stay afloat.
I'm drying in the sunshine,
trying not to burn.
I'm crying in the water,
trying to catch my tears,
I'm going to see the world,
trying to keep moving forward.
I'm wanting to sing so the whole world can hear me
Trying to do the impossible,
I'm trying to learn to love this path I've chosen.
Trying just to live.
