Drown in Me

by Alex D   Jan 16, 2008

Caught your eye from across the hall
Look away quickly, as I trip and fall
Embarrassed, I guess I couldnt help myself
Staring comes so naturally, compose myself
Storm off quickly before it sinks in
God, Im such an idiot, Wishful Sin
Yet I cant get her off my curiously wandering mind
Hoping to one day tell her the plan Ive designed
Because if she only had the slightest clue
Shed probably daydream about me to
And so the story continues, I just need to relax
But plots keep unfolding, without reaching a climax

If only...

Now baby I cant help but shiver
When I think of us together
Let hearts be what they may and lips do what lips do
Shhh! Your parents are in the other room
I dont want to tell you this
But youve got me completely restless
The most beautiful girl to ever make my mind wander
Lets do what hearts together do best to each other
Because darling, the stage where I dance my best
Is on your, is on your mattress; so baby
Together lets swim in this sea of white sheets
Hopefully, soon youll be drowning in me
