It rained last night,
I couldn't help but think of you.
Your smiling face,
Your endearing voice.
I'm still in denial of the truth.
I wake up from nightmares,
Choking on my screams.
It's as if there's a whole in my chest,
My heart splitting at the seems.
It's hard to believe you're not coming back,
That I'll never feel your touch again.
I can still hear you say my name,
The words so vivid, clear in my head.
To say I miss you is an understatement,
The whole in my chest wont go away.
I hope you know I'm thinking of you,
Remember to keep my heart safe.
***Ehh it's not very good, i had jotted it down in class one day when I was bored. I think the reason it came to me is because I'd just finished reading New Moon from the Twilight series again. Ha. :DDD
