Jealousy

by oXoIESWYDEOPINoXo   Jan 16, 2008

They layed in the grass as the sun passed them by,
They made love under the moon,
Loved until they cried,

They wished for each other,
Day after day,
They loved one another,
For love is all they prayed,

They had to face the world,
Just wanted the skies to see,
A world without love,
Was a world that was not free,

Jealousy came over him,
As the trees told him lies,
Told him she had another,
He held his head and moaned with cries,

He just never could seem to look at her the same,
He thought it was fate,
Now nature is to blame,
He now looks at her with hate and looks at her with shame,

He's getting all suspicious,
When she goes out late at night,
Reminds him or their everlasting love,
Never wanted to cause a fight,

Jealousy drives him mad,
Day after day,
Her beauty makes him sad,
He cant keep loving her this way,

Pulling herself from the water,
Just Another day under the sunlight of sin,
He cant let anybody have her,
So he pushes her back in,

Doesn't ask for an explanation,
His body is being controlled by jealousy and anger,
All he wants is for it to end,
Her body struggling not to give into the danger,

Her body floats to the top,
How could he ever forgive himself?
The skies whisper from the raindrops,
He didn't pass the test,

The only in her life was him,
For their everlasting years,
He throws his head to the ground,
Drowns himself in his tears.
