Fallen Angel

She is headstrong and outgoing but at the same time she is quiet and shy.
She desperately looks for a way out while she fights to stay alive.
She tries to find the good things in life but for some reason she cannot.

She hides from everyone and the world but at the same time it’s her that she wants everyone to see.
She keeps her family close but then she pushes them away.
She sits by herself and wonders why they won’t let her be.

She tries to stay true to the world and everyone else but at the same time she withdraws and hides.
She feels the weight of the world closing in on her.
She sees nothing but the darkness surrounding her. She desperately tries to find the light at the end of the road but she sees nothing.
The weight of her pain pulls her down and at the same time her pain is drowning her.

She looks like she is just about to give up hope when all of a sudden she finds the strength to fight back.
She has many wounds and bruises that have yet to heal, but maybe she will make it out of the darkness all right after all.
