Broken But Complete

I know it's not me
I know there will never be us
But all I'm asking is a friendship that'll last

I had my heart broken
I had my hopes shattered
But that won't stop me from caring

I was hurt by what happened
I was hurt because I loved too much
But if I didn't , I would've hurt much more..

I'd rather have my heart broken into pieces
I'd rather have it torn and thrown away
Than forever long for false hopes and live a lie...

I feel down...
But somehow complete and free of worries...
