Alone

You broke my heart
With your lonely words
You pushed me out the door
You held me close
Then ran away
Leaving me to die
I could say I'm fine
I don't need you
But that would be a lie
Without you here i feel so cold
Alone and unworthy of life
So i built these walls
Around my self
And I don't let anyone in
Protecting my heart
From destruction
I've pushed the ones who love me away
