Captured

by Lucy Vandenberg   Jan 18, 2008

Your love steals all my senses
excited yet at ease

your scent the aroma of heaven
you taste of ecstasy

and just a moment in your eyes
I view a glimpse of paradise

and in your voice I find
I am lost in serenity

my heart abandons all defenses
I surrender to your touch

my soul sings like a rainbow
magical and free

yet I am helplessly your prisoner
for your love has captured me

The imagery is probably the best part of this piece, you use it so perfectly in this poem.
You portray the affliction of love so elloquently throughout this piece.

    Another wonderfully penned poem.
