Still

by Neil Marsden   Jan 18, 2008

Thirty years ago you came,
To check identity, confirm name.
I told you then as I'd tell you now,
You must be wrong, only God knows how.

This was not just one more death,
But parted me from every breath.
The body that you represented,
Left behind the long tormented.

Neil Graham Marsden.
