These Walls

by biancaa   Jan 19, 2008

I built these walls, they protect me from my fears.
These walls they stand, so that I may stay clear of tears.

The good and bad, they are trapped behind these walls.
Feelings and emotions, they don't see my falls.

They protect me from the world and all the evil too.
People they come along, but they never get through.

These walls here protect me, even from heart breaks.
I don't get caught in love, they keep me from my mistakes.

The walls are needed, so I don't find myself lost.
To be broken and miserable, I don't want to pay the cost.

So I built these walls, tall and strong.
No nothing gets past them, no kind of wrong.
