So many times

by Iola   Jan 20, 2008

So many times you have seen it
A spirit that cannot be binded by time
So many times you have been it
And expressed your concerns in rhyme

So many times you have warned me
To not scream against my reason for being here
So many times you have thorned me
By just trying to remain and lend an ear

So many times you have loved me
Just to found out that my spirit soar free
So many times you've despised me
For asking you to just let me be

So many tears you have cried for me
Each time I tell you I'm not willing to change
So many times you've tried to make me see
Feeling my rage, my fury and pains

So many times you have touched me
In places where only angels dear to thread
So many ointment that you spared for me
I'm alive for the first time, I despise the dead.
