When we part

by Courtney   Jan 20, 2008

You brought me the sun
You brought me the rain
The love you showed me
Drove me insane

Some days I laughed
Some days I spent crying
Because this love
I was tired of denying

In the end
We'll go our seperate ways
It's just a matter of time
Before it's those days

I'll remember the sun
I'll remember the rain
Appreciate the love you showed me
And how you drove me insane

The laughs are immortal
The tears, signs of growth
I cherish what we had
I give you this oath

One days we'll see each other
On a crowded street
We'll smile like the old times
And maybe even stop to meet

When I walk down that isle
In my ivory white gown
You won't be there waiting
To turn my frown upside down

You'll go down on one knee
Praying that she'll take you
You'll promise your life to her
When you say the words 'I do'

Then I'll see you again
And you'll see me
The times we had shared
Will all be a distant memory
