Time Traveler

by Irtine   Jan 21, 2008

There's a picture on the wall,
A drawing on a boy,
I wonder who he was,
Just an ordinary boy,

But he could have been unique,
I can see it in his face,
I beleive that boy was special,
In that ordinary place,

What is a picture anyway,
But a captured piece of time,
Frozen still for us to ponder,
One thousand years down the line,

But if he never lived,
Outside his wooden frame,
Then the picture becomes a window,
Into someone else's brain,

But i beleive he was real,
That young and perfect face,
Staring at the future,
Into earth then sky then space.
