Stranger in a Strange Land

by Irtine   Jan 21, 2008

Stranger in a strange land,
Loner left alone,
In the rain of a lonely world,
Forever must is roam?
One thousand miles away,
From every other soul,
Until death itself will seize my heart,
With hands as black as coal.

A blend of bitter sound,
Music in my ears,
Snatching darker thoughts,
But returning friendly years,
Give life again to my pen,
Make it stop that inken eye,
With silver strokes of putrid death,
Why bother now to ever cry?

Silver moon, Silver star,
Gleaming in the sky,
Golden glow from a candle,
Dimmest light I'm reading by,
Till the sun must bring me out again,
From my perfect paper land,
Made all of flowing words of ink,
Dragon fire and golden sand.

So alone again with no one there,
No friends or family lonely life,
The tears are gone all cried away,
All that's left is a bitter knife,
And scarlet blood all down my arm,
No! Why! Help!,
I'm passing out I'm on the floor,
Scream! Cry! Yelp!

But i didn't scream or even flinch,
I tasted pain and liked it too,
I'm mad insane I'm not alright,
Why am I even telling you?
Stranger in a strange land,
Loner left alone,
In the rain of a lonely world,
Forever I must roam.
