Transient Tears

by Molly May   Jan 21, 2008

Light of the lifetime
Candle of the heart
Silently snuffed out of existence
One by one
Smothered to smoke
Extinguished into darkness

But as one fades out
Another rekindles
Spreading it's warmth to the
Surrounding pools of
Tears
They slowly melt
Drifting away
Saving themselves for
A later day

((Mr Nines- a hand in the darkness))
