Ego

by vanillasky   Jan 21, 2008

Imagine yourself sucked into some other existence,
A new state of reality, perception and visions.
Your ego's probably already fighting against this,
Attached to illusions it won't accept what the truth is.

It gives you an identity but ure part of one entity,
Your thoughts keep evolving and your heart's left so empty.
It's devolution you need when it comes to your thoughts,
Still the mind, you're infinetly greater than your ego knows.

Time means so much that you either live in past or future tense,
Creating illusions to escape from now and wholly just being here.
What's up with your now? dreamin' bout who you'll be next January,
While moanin about how the past has altered your brain chemistry.

All is one as one is nothing, lest it seems it makes no sense,
But what's space without object? can an object be without space?
Guess it can't be, but it can for the ego - for lies can be created.
Understand, we gotta kill our identities hence truth be unravelled.
