Flesh

by vanillasky   Jan 21, 2008

I was never disheartened, only just weary of flesh.
I had to expose what hid beneath it - and I did.
My soul, perplexed by the sudden bright light,
Amazed by the following realisation of truth.
Utter peace and joy it felt, so much it bursted
Outwards, reflecting what it had received
Unto all with brighter intensity.
Ah, at last - Fleshless.
